Ray Mitchell has over 30 year experience in the entertainment industry acting in a senior engineering capacity for a variety of facilities catering to the broadcast, post production and production communities. He has been with Lowry Digital since 2005 and as Vice President of Engineering oversees the day-to-day operation of the engineering department and is responsible for the facility’s maintenance and equipment upgrades, and future planning.

Prior to joining Lowry Digital, Ray was Director of Engineering for Cinesite Digital Studios (2001-2005); Vice President of Engineering for Audio Plus Video/West (1998-2001); Director of Video Engineering for Consolidated Film Industries and Director of Engineering for Vidfilm, Inc. (1995-1998). Prior to that, he served as Chief Engineer at both AME, Inc. and Compact Video Services.

Ray Mitchell is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and the Society of Television Engineers.
